Women's Empowerment Speaker Series, 2nd week

The Harpswell Foundation presents the Women's Empowerment Speaker
Series, hosted by Java TeaRoom and Monument Books

July 19th – Dr. Lilli Sisombat - Project Manager for the
International Finance Corporation's Coordinating Bureau of the
Government-Private Sector Forum.

July 26th – Lim Solinn – Oxfam America extractive industry

August 2nd – Chea Veasna – Co-founder Cambodia Arts and
Scholarship Foundation and Associate Director of the Harpswell
Foundation

This weekend join us for a talk with Dr. Lilli Sisombat

Dr Lilli Sisombat is project manager for the International Finance
Corporation's Coordinating Bureau of the Government-Private Sector
Forum. Before taking on this role, she was managing a business
management training program also at IFC in Cambodia, Lao PDR and
China. She joined IFC in 2001. Lilli holds a masters degree in
business management and a PhD in sociology (both from France). Before
joining IFC, Lilli worked in marketing for multi-national companies in
Europe, and then in the early 1990s, returned to live and work in Lao
PDR, her native country, where she ran a research company. She is the
proud mother of three young artists who are 18, 12 and 9 years old.
