Rock to
Rap, Disco to Songwriting with a touch of traditional music: Featuring
music videos
of "The Messenger Band" and famous Chanpei player Kong Nai (by US
filmmaker David
Eberhard), "Thom Thom" (by Hong Kong filmmaker KM Lo and Rithy Panh!) and
aspiring
young hip hop act MC Curly – a Meta House production by Nico Mesterharm.
Moreover you will see short documentaries by Khmer DMC students Kong
Rachana, Chhin
Sothea, Ouerm Savann and Thy Heang about various music performers and a
film about
DJ Sdey – Cambodia's #1 rap star, who was a propaganda singer under KR.
French-Khmer DJ Cream will present the newest video work of his hip hop
collective
Klapyahandz.
