vernissage de l'exposition "Impressions angkoriennes" de Narin
Narin tient une petite boutique au vieux marché. Il peint les temples, parce que c'est ce que préfèrent les touristes, bien sûr, mais aussi pour l'indicible qui s'ent dégage. Il sait capter les belles lumières chaudes de fin d'après midi, ou celles, parfois fantastiques, du soleil couchant. Une touche impressionniste belle, juste.

conférence "Le temple du Baphuon" par Pascal Royère
Pascal Royère viendra nous parler du programme de restauration du temple du Baphuon, engagé en 1995, et de ses recherches sur l'histoire architecturale de ce temple angkorien du XIe siècle, la typologie du temple montagne khmer, et l'analyse des techniques de construction. (en français)

Exhibition opening "Angkorian impressions" by Narin
Narin holds a small shop at the old market. He paints temples because it is what tourists prefer of course, but also because of the thing that cannot be taught about it. He knows how to figure warm lights of the afternoon, or those from fantastic sunsets. A beautiful and sensitive impressionnist touch.

Conference "Baphuon temple" by Pascal Royère
Pascal Royère will come to present the restauration program of Baphuon temple, initiated in 1995, and his reserch about architectural history of this 11th century angkorian temple, khmer mount temple typology, and analysis of architectural construction techniques (in french).
