This Tuesday, 7PM, we are very happy to host an artist night
with Denise Scott and Sayon Syprasoeuth –
in connection with their on-going art exhibition "TRANSFORMATION" @ Meta
House.

Next weekend (Fri., Sat, from 7PM) you are invited for first screenings of
documentaries from Cambodia and Thailand, that have been (co-)produced at
Meta House.

ARTIST SPECIAL
Denise Scott (USA/ public installation) and Sayon Syprasoeuth (USA/
Cambodia/ public
installation) will present the art exchange project TRANSFORMATION, which
will be
exhibit from July 22 @ META HOUSE. TRANSFORMATION art work, contenting of
8 L.A.
based artists and 6 Cambodian artists, will be exhibit in 2009 in the USA.

GERMAN CINEMA: WAS LEBST DU?
For two years filmmaker Bettina Braun followed with her camera Ali, Kais,
Ertan,
Alban and their friends (all between 16 and 21 years old). As migrant
children from
North Africa. Turkey and Kosovo they found a second home at the youth centre
‚Klingelpütz' and friends with similar problems and dreams. Two years of
filming
formed by hopes and disappointments, lethargy and conflicts with the law,
but also
with a lot of success. (2005, 84min)

electrification".
