Media
students from the Department of Media and Communication (DMC) at the Royal
University of Phnom Penh present their new short film series "WHO MOVES PHNOM
PENH?". Who are the people that make the capital city work, and what's
their daily
life like behind the scenes? See how city workers tackle rising levels of
garbage,
how a ladyboy finds recognition through his job or how tourists turn into
volunteer
workers. The 22 mini documentaries take you amongst construction workers,
to the
kitchen of noodle makers, or into the middle of a traditional Khmer boxing
practice
session (2009, 70 mins). Filmmakers will be present at the screening (Q&A).
