Well-known Cambodian painter SREY BANDOL shows his excellent work about the widely disussed PREAH VIHEAR issue (SAT, 6PM) and one of the most famous war photographers TIM PAGE visits Meta House (Opening: SUN, 6PM) with exciting foto works and screenings on our rooftop. AT META HOUSE THIS WEEKEND
SAT, 03/01, 6PM PREAH VIHEAR
Preah Vihear is one the most important example of ancient Khmer architecture. Current tensions erupted when the UN's cultural body awarded Preah Vihear World Heritage status, reigniting old arguments between Cambodia and Thailand. Srey Bandol's exhibition opening is followed by a film/photo presentation of Cambodian artist Vandy Rattana (7PM, rooftop) plus Q&A with journalists and NGO workers.
SUN, 04/01, 6 PM until WED, 07/01, 6 PM THE WORKS OF TIM PAGE
Tim Page is one of the world's best-known war photographers.
From Mon 05 until Wed 07 Meta House screens a selection of documentary films about Tim Page,
his colleagues and their lives as combat photographers (incl. Q&A, book sell & signing).
