An Eternal Harvest

Slide show soon at Popil PhotoGallery

Hey there!
Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 6.30pm, please join for the screening of a
photo project by Jerry Redfern and Karen Coates at Popil PhotoGallery and
talk with the artists.
Coates and Redfern's "Eternal Harvest" documentes the subject of UXO in
Laos, where 4 billion pounds of bombs have been dumped by US military
between 1964 and 1973. If it seems an old story for you, that is a very
serious reason to come see at gallery and realise that today up to 30
percent of those bombs did not detonate, remaining in the soil, covering
more than 35,000 square miles of the country, making every week Laotians die
while plowing their fields, playing in their yards, tending their cattle.

"An Eternal Harvest", a photo project about UXO in Laos by Jerry Redfern and
Karen Coates, at Popil PhotoGallery, 126 street 19, Phnom Penh, February
16th, 17th and 18th at 6.30pm.

I hope to see you,

Stephane Janin
Photographer and Director of the Popil PhotoGallery.
