Dear Friends of Romeet,

We would like to invite you to Romeet Gallery's upcoming exhibition on the Tuesday 10th of April at 6.30 pm.
Romeet Gallery will exhibit a selection of photographs and paintings realised by the french artist Julien Malland, a french Street artist who signs his pieces under the name of « Seth ». The artist specializes in painting characters on walls.

'Seth' is also well known as the Television Director and onscreen Reporter of the documentary series 'Globe Painter'' produced by one of the main French TV channels, Canal plus. In these documentaries Seth meets with local artists in the spirit of artistic exchange, resulting in the creation of unique murals in the country he is visiting.

In Cambodia the project is in partnership with the French Institute for who he is painting 10 murals in Phnom Penh to celebrate their 20th anniversary. The murals are realized during the ten days before the 5th of March, the date of their 20th year anniversary opening.

Since the 25th of March people are able to follow the painting of ten murals on Romeet's youtube chanel: http://www.youtube.com/user/romeetgallery.

We will also organise a  documentary screening  and a  talk with the artist on Friday 6th of April at 6.30pm at Romeet Gallery ( Although the documentary is in French language it may still be of interest to non-french speaker as it is visually lush).

Seth will then run a workshop for the students and artists from Phare Ponleu Selpak School in Battambang before the opening date

Please find below some pictures of his work.

Best,

Ms. Khenory  Sok.
