J’ai l’honneur de vous informer que la Médiathèque du Centre culturel
français du Cambodge organisera son opération LIRE EN FETE les 19, 20 et 21
octobre prochains. L’objectif de cette manifestation sera de promouvoir et
de valoriser l’écrit, le livre et la lecture au Cambodge sous toutes ses
formes. Elle sera aussi l’occasion de fêter la toute récente réouverture de
la médiathèque dans des locaux neufs, en face du Centre Culturel français.
Comme les années précédentes, nous souhaitons organiser un « salon du livre
et de l’édition cambodgienne » par le biais duquel éditeurs, libraires,
auteurs, pourraient rencontrer le public, présenter et vendre leurs
publications (en khmer ou en français).
Dans cette perspective, nous serions très heureux de votre participation et
vous invitons à une réunion de préparation de l’opération qui se tiendra :

New cyclo tour:

Central Old Phnom Penh
This new tour will explore two central districts of Phnom Penh by cyclo, and will include Colonial buildings as well as modern, post-independence architecture.
Traveling by cyclo is a special way of experiencing the streets and buildings of the city; we aim to visit some buildings and see others from the comfort of padded, mobile arm-chairs. We will explore first in the district around the old Post Office, then go south and ride around the area south-east of the Central Market. Meant to be an introduction to the city, the tour includes a selection of well-known buildings as well as some less obvious examples.
We start at 8.30am and aim to return after around 2.5 hrs including a short drinks stop;12 adult places are available.
Cost is $9 per person including the cyclo hire and English speaking guides.
Children under 16 are free if they share a cyclo with a parent/carer.
